Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED (a caring heart is a major plus!).
Prior caregiving experience is a benefit, but we’re happy to train the right candidate with a willingness to learn and grow!
CPR and First Aid certification (we can help you get certified if needed).
A compassionate and patient spirit with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (may vary by position).
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities:

Providing personalized support with daily living activities (ADLs) to ensure dignity and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Partnering with clients to enhance their mobility and navigate their environment safely through transfers and ambulation.
Spark joy and well-being by facilitating engaging activities that promote both physical and emotional health.
Preparing nutritious meals that cater to individual preferences and ensure all dietary needs are met.
Maintaining a safe and serene home environment through light housekeeping tasks.
Building meaningful connections by offering companionship and fostering positive, supportive relationships with clients.
Serving as a trusted companion by accompanying clients to appointments and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being in all settings.
Proactively monitoring client health and reporting any concerns or changes to the care team.
Upholding the highest standards of care by adhering to all healthcare regulations and New Century Home Care policies.
