Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate!
  • CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist you in obtaining these if needed).
  • A compassionate and patient heart with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide medication reminders and administer medication (as directed by a physician’s order).
  • Plan, prepare, and assist with nutritious meals to ensure proper dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment through light housekeeping tasks like laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities that spark joy and maintain cognitive function.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed, providing safe transportation and support.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or environment to the care team.
  • Uphold the highest standards of care by adhering to all company policies and state regulations.
